Youth Development
Everything we do is focused around serving and developing the youth of Oakland. Our approach to working with youth is holistic in nature. Our team focuses on working with youth to identify their goals and what tools and resources they will need to reach them. Our core goal is to expose youth to opportunities they wouldn’t have had otherwise, broadening their ideas, dreams and options for their future.
We work hard to help youth set clear goals and implement effective tools and life skills to be successful on their chosen path! We help our youth develop a tailor-made roadmap for success in their life.
Our team functions as a wrap-around service for our youth that helps keep them from falling through the cracks.
Network-Building
We are committed to developing a network of programs and services to serve youth in Oakland with much needed resources, tools, and opportunities. Our desire is to partner with schools, non-profits, and businesses in the Oakland area that align with our vision for helping the youth of Oakland succeed. Our aim is to see non-profits working together with businesses for this common goal. We know that partnership has the ability to exponentially multiply the impact that we can collectively bring to the table for our youth and our community.
Volunteer Training
Volunteers are the life blood of our organization. We provide extensive, quality training for our volunteers and we are seeking to develop the most equipped and qualified volunteers working with youth in the Bay Area. We continually invest in our volunteers and provide ongoing training and certifications for them to make sure they are always prepared and equipped for the important work of youth development.
